Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslims. Will be celebrated in the country tomorrow ( Thursday). Everybody busy to take preparation for eid-ul-fitr.
President Prof. Dr Iajuddin Ahmed and Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed would issue separate messages greeting the people on the very auspicious occasion

The main Eid-ul-Fitr Jamaat (congregation) will be held at the Jatiya Eidgah at 8:30am. In case of inclement weather, the main prayer session will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at the same time. Besides, five more congregations will be held at the National Mosque at 7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am and 11:15am

Chief Adviser (CA) Fakhruddin Ahmed said election to upazila parishad due to be held in a week's time following the general election in December might not be deferred.
He hoped that honest and competent leadership would emerge through the next elections.
Fakhruddin made the comment while talking to Bangladesh-born journalists at Hotel Helmsley in New York City yesterday.
He said the present government has given the responsibility of holding local-body elections to the Election Commission.
He said it seems from recent newspaper reports quoting the Election Commission that the date for upazila polls would not be shifted.

Yesterday I Witnessed A Road Accident At Chittagong University 1 Number Road(Inside Rail Gate).It Was About 6.30 Pm. I Was Returning Home From Rail Gate With Some Shopping A Old Man Was Crossing The Road Tow Mini Bus Was Coming From Chittagong City. The Tow Mini Bus Has Competitive Driving They Want To Pass One Another It Seem Then Play A Car Racing. Games Suddenly They Hit The Old Man Then He Has Spot Death. The Crowd Of People Present There Raised A Hue And Cry. As The Bus Was In Full Speed. It Left The Place In A Twinkle Of An Eye. I Could Not Stay There Any Longer I Came Back Home . It Was A Pathetic Scene. I Was No Much Shocked That I Can’t Forget It. Most Driver In Our Country Do Not Know How To Flow Driving Role And They Think Driving Is A Racing Game.
